Islam and the use of Force

First of all Happy Molud , today marks the Birthday of Prophet Mohammed PBUH

Second in this occasion I would like to share you with something related to Islam and the myths about it ,the most universal myth spread in the world that it forces people to embrace it.

My simple answer on that based on logic ,if Islam forces people to embrace it how come there are still Christians,Jews and Zoroastrians in the Muslim World till now , how come there are still temples and churches in the Muslim world.

Some wise people come and tell me your Quran says so and so , it is contradicting itself

This myth is based on misunderstanding for verses in the Quran , Non Muslims do not know that there are certain verses that were revealed in certain occasions like during the wars between Prophet Mohammed "PBUH" and the tribes of Mecca, also we should not forget that the Quran Arabic language is very sophisticated ,western do not usual understand it and thus any translation can give wrong meaning.

Anyhow I always wanted to tickle this subject ,try to debunk it just like the Pyramids builders ,it is my duty ,well this honour was taken from me by dear Friend Fadfadation who did a great and fantastic job in debunking this myth.

Please check his post he wrote under the title :

Please spread this link because it is so important.

  1. funny how some westerners like to ignore daily "Christian" and "Jewish" violence but seem to only see Muslim violence. In iraq, afghanistan, palestine, lebanon, somal, chrstians are killing muslims in the tens of thousands but to them this does not reflect on Christianity simply because when they kill, they don't say Jesus Akbaar and don't wear vests. fact is, if we use the same generzliation and steryotyping aproaches used by the west to condemn islam, then White Christians continue to be the most genocidal race on earth and in the history of humanity going back to the genocide of the natives in the Americans, the Crusades, passing through colonialism, WWI and WWII and Vietnam, and ending with Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Palestine. If you add all the supposed violence blamed on Islamic fanatics over the last century, it won't even add up to a fraction of what the Americans did in Vietnam alone. SO I marvel at the audacity of some White Christians who like to poke at our values and accuse Islam of propensity to violence. And I agree with you that the presence of large non-mulims communities in the muslim world is proof of islam's historic tolrance, while the historica absence of large non-Christiane populations in the West is proof of White Christianity's intolerance. Last show of that bloody intolerance was the holocaust, almost eliminating the largest non-Christian group in Europe, Jews. Today, the same White Christians are gearing up for something similar against their Muslims. So they put their Muslims under a microscope and start looking for excuse to mobilize public opinion for the next genocide. And lets face it. If it were not for the US, the Muslims in Bosnia and Kosova would have relocated under 7 feet of dirt.

  3. @anonymous,some people forget the bloody role of the Church in Rome in killing millions , in France they killed 16,000 in one day because they were from different sect , still no dares to his or her mouth
I think this war against Islam is because it is spreading more and more in the west and America , let them say what they want to say ,history is between us and we as Muslim should be sure that this history is clear to every one

@N.American Princess.well I can't speak about politics all the time , plus it is important to speak about these myths regarding Islam and Muslims

  4. Yes Z, I understand and that is not what I was referring to. No blog should just discuss 1 subject or it will get boring 2 read. U go from entertainment, to current events, to politics, to religion, to whatever crosses your mind, to what books you have read etc. which is why I continue to read your blog. It never stays on 1 subject so it continues to interest its readers.

I read his blog and I found it funny that while speaking about the wonderful religion of Islam he also posts about how all of his friends are just trying to get with girls and take them to places alone and hook up with them or something...It seemed to me, I don't know, contradictory and inappropriate. I didn't really like the way he and the people who comment on his blog discuss women. And then there was the discussion with his friend about men marrying more than 1 women and women only marrying 1 man. He was harping on the emotional side of women.

I heard this argument about how women are "too emotional" to make any important decisions from many Egyptian men while I was there. Eyes rolling. Women are, in fact, emotionally stronger than men and anyone whose says differently hasn't lived enough in this world. Women live with and deal with much more than men ever could. What man will tolerate continued beatings and rapes for the sake of his children. These same Egyptian men who told me how women were too emotional to do much of anything, were often told what to do and when to do it by their wives. So I guess I just don't like the way he writes. The Prophet (SAW) treated his wives with all of the love and respect due to them. If only we could all do this with each other. But to each his own. U just do a better job of expressing yourself and 1 thing I must say...u r consistent in your views and opinions.
